Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & District relies on support from the local community in the form of volunteer time, leadership, construction labour, as well as donated land, building materials, equipment and cash.
Habitat believes that its philosophy of hands-on home construction and partnership creates a sense of pride and belonging in Habitat families who then actively build and maintain their communities.
